This tea towel is sure to spark wonderful memories of Inspector Morse, Endeavour, Inspector Lewis, and maybe even the more recent show, A Discovery of Witches.
What's the difference between a tea towel and a regular hand towel?
A tea towel is typically larger than a normal hand towel, and instead of some kind of terry or microfiber, tea towels are typically made of cotton twill (like this one) or linen. They're believed to have originated in 18th century England, where the lady of the house would use them to dry off delicate china or tea sets that wouldn't be trusted to clumsy servants.
This lovely tea towel is custom made for you at the time of your order. As a result, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges except in cases where the item is clearly defective.
The Oxford, City of Dreaming Spires tea towel is custom made for you at the time of your order, and typically takes 1-3 weeks to arrive. In rare cases, it can be slightly longer (but it's usually closer to the 7-10 day mark).
